My Summer Lament

Allergies are a plague upon my existence

I cry out to you o' Lord

deliver me from this affliction

rescue me from certain destruction

I wait for you o' Lord.

Ahhh....summmer....

Let me list why I love summer:

sleeping in

exercising when I feel like it

hiking

sleeping in

coffee

reading leisurely

doing tasks I can not usually get to

making time for friends

playing Amish horseshoes in the front yard

laying by pools

having good conversations with friends

sleeping in

having a choice about what my day is going to look like

being alone

trying new things

sleeping in

ooh ohh staying up late

which leads to sleeping in

camping

farmers markets

In summation: I love summer, and therefore love being a teacher because it provides me with a summer.
